I started studying human biology because I wanted to understand how the body actually works: how what we eat, how we move, and how we rest add up over a lifetime. That curiosity became a practice built on a simple idea: good nutrition advice should be grounded in evidence, explained clearly, and fitted to the person in front of you.

I work with individuals, families, and organizations across North County San Diego who want trustworthy guidance without the noise of fad diets and conflicting headlines.

Consultations focus on nutrition education and habit change. They are not medical care and do not replace the advice of your physician.

My approach

  • Evidence, explained. I read the research so you don't have to, and I'll always tell you how strong the evidence is.
  • Small, durable changes. We focus on a few habits at a time that fit your life, not a rigid plan you'll abandon in a month.
  • Whole person. Food is cultural, social, and personal. Plans respect your preferences, budget, and schedule.
  • Collaborative care. I'm glad to work alongside your physician and other providers, and I'll refer you to them when something is outside my scope.
